Lorewalk at work

Four minutes, together, every morning.

One real place a day, the same for everyone. Here is how to bring it to your team with what you already use: nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.

Five ways

Pick the one your team lives in.

  1. Slack: a nudge every weekday

In the channel, send this once. Slack posts it each weekday at nine, its time.

/remind #general "Today's Lorewalk: one real place, about four minutes. https://lorewalk.app/play/" every weekday at 9am
  2. Slack: the day's place, as it opens

Add Slack's RSS app to your workspace, then send this in the channel. Each day's place arrives with its painting.

    /feed subscribe https://lorewalk.app/feed.xml
  3. Microsoft Teams

In the channel: ⋯ → Workflows → Post to a channel when an RSS feed item is published, with the feed below. Or a plain nudge: Workflows → Post to a channel on a schedule, each weekday at nine.

  4. Discord

Add an RSS bot to your server (MonitoRSS is free) and give it the feed. The day's place lands in the channel you choose.

  5. Your calendar

A five-minute event each weekday at nine, your time, with the link in it. Your calendar's own reminder does the rest.

A board of your own

Start a fellowship.

In the app, open the day's board and start a fellowship, then share its code in the channel. Your team gets its own board each day, and the first of you to walk the day lets the others know.

Fair play: the day is the same for everyone, so keep the answers out of the channel until the evening.
