A daily expedition game about real places. Every day it opens on one place on Earth, the same for everyone. You meet five short encounters about that place, take one ranked attempt, and keep the day in your Library.

No. Each day has one ranked attempt. That keeps the board honest and the day meaningful.

Missed days wait in your Library, and for now anyone can walk them. A recovered day fills your satchel but never counts for a streak or for that day's board; recovering will later be part of the Pass.

On Sundays, beside the day's own place, the week's six places come back as a crossword, clued from what you learned. Walk four of the week's days to open it (or every day since you arrived). Your companion helps; nothing is scored.

The Reading is the day on one page after you finish: every question, the answer and the why, to read or listen to. The Book keeps every idea you meet and asks it back in three days, then ten, then thirty, until it is yours.

A gamified one. Each day starts at a place and opens onto the world: science, history, words and their origins, music, living things, numbers, and how to weigh a claim. The six wings of the Library between them hold all of it.

No. You play at once, with no sign-in. Your progress is kept on this phone’s own anonymous account.

Yes. Sign in with Apple or Google (on the You page) and your days, your Book and your streak follow you to any phone. One account can use both.

Nothing is lost. This phone's days come into your account: a day only this phone walked joins your Library, and a day you walked on both keeps your first walk. Your satchel, rank and streak are worked out again from all of them. Your account keeps its name and look.

This phone starts a fresh Wayfarer. Your account keeps everything, and it all comes back when you sign in again.

Yes, from the settings: your days, your Book, your name, your fellowships and your sign-in, on every phone. It cannot be undone.

From a curated list of real places across every continent and climate: harbour towns, deserts, high mountains, islands, forests, cities, the Arctic.

They are composed with the help of AI from a brief for each place, checked by a second pass grounded in the web, and read by a person ahead of the day. A day that fails is rewritten; a wrong line is corrected before it opens. Content about living people is limited to public roles and settled facts.

Each day has its own watercolour of its place, made with AI in Lorewalk's own style from a plain description of what is there, and chosen by a person from several. The world you walk through in the game is painted the same way, and chosen by hand too. Nothing is shown until someone has looked at it.

Every fact must be verifiable, and we work hard on it, but Lorewalk is a game, not a reference work. If you find a mistake, tell us and we will correct it.

The tone is warm and for all ages, and history is told plainly and with care. The app is not directed at children under 13.

An anonymous identifier, the name and look of your Wayfarer, and your play results; if you sign in, the identifier Apple or Google gives us, and nobody sees your email. No location, no contacts, no ads, no tracking. See the privacy policy.

Every day is free, with no ads. A Pass ($3.99 a month or $29.99 a year) will be the only purchase: the whole archive, unlimited questions to the Wayfarer, the Sunday Crossing without the walks, and some cloaks. Nothing sold ever touches a score, a streak or a board.
